Virginia Tech Lumenhaus Wins European Solar Decathlon 2010

Virginia Tech’s Lumenhaus took the grand prize at the European Solar Decathlon. The Lumenhaus blew away the competition with its ever-changing shape, sole reliance on solar energy, and the ability to connect multiple Lumenhauses together to create infinite possibilities to meet anyone’s needs. This was the second Solar Decathlon where Virginia Tech presented their Lumenhaus, but this was the first time the Lumenhaus won first place.
